Sandy was one of our original two maidens, and has proven herself to be the most excellent of moms! This is the mom who doesn’t want to let go of her babies when it’s time to wean. She has given us two beautiful girls two years in a row and remains the gentlest animal in our herd.
While she is registered as a light fawn, we truly believe she is white and have seen in the case of both crias that she has totally let the sires’ color and fleece characteristics come through. She is ½ Peruvian, ¼ Chilean, and ¼ Bolivian with very solid bone structure and excellent density.
