This gentle, friendly girl is a great mom! We purchased her as a very young cria. She was included in the package of the very first alpacas we purchased. I fell in love with her curious personality and lovely tuxedo markings. Her mother, Gretel, is an extremely friendly female, especially when it comes to food! She will always come and eat from your hand and she taught Jasmine the same behavior. Jazzy just LOVES her food. She is extremely straight in the legs. Her fiber is unbelievably fine for an animal as dark as she is and it has a wonderful hand. Check out her fantastic histogram! Her first cria was over 20 pounds! This was difficult for Jazzy to deliver since she was a maiden at the time. I spotted her in the field trying to push. When I entered the paddock, she actually walked right over to me as to say, "Please help me!" I easily haltered her and took her to a freshly bedded stall. She let me assist her delivery without an issue and she had a beautiful baby girl sired by black B
True Black, 823161, Full Chilean
Do you have a passion for true black? Maximus is the sire you've been searching for! Here is a gorgeous non-fading true black male, with a beautiful typey head, perfect conformation, good fleece character and density, wonderful bone, and the best leg coverage we have seen on a black. A well-respected international judge recently commented on Maximus after he took the blue ribbon at PAOBA's Breeder's Showcase: "From the minute he entered the ring, he commanded your attention. He has a presence like no other animal in the ring with him." He oozes with self-confidence and masculinity, seeming to always be posed for the camera. We receive numerous inquiries about Maximus wherever we take him. Another judge mentioned that "You will not find a truer, deeper black!" He carries himself proudly, as well he should. A multiple ribbon winner himself, in both halter and fleece competitions, he is a carbon copy of his famous true black father and multiple champion Mephisto. His pedigree is fil

Havenfield's Charlotte of Maximus (Reserve Champion!!)
We knew Charlotte was going to be special from the second we saw her at 2 weeks old and purchased her! From the start, she carried her father's amazing proud presence and self-assurance. Her fiber was as soft as a whisper, with character starting at the base since birth. She has wonderful conformation, with very straight legs and eye pleasing proportions. Charlotte has a very pleasant disposition and is very curious. Her dam Jasmine has always been an awesome mother, with more than ample milk, and very attentive to her cria. She bonds to her babies incredibly well. At almost 5 years of age, Jasmine's black fiber had an SD of 4.9, and her CV was 19.5! Charlotte's sire Maximus needs no introduction. He has been a traffic stopping male on Havenfield Farm with his outstanding presence. Winning multiple blues, including the AOBA National and MAPACA, Maximus is passing on the best of his qualities to his offspring. Charlotte is one of Max's best to date. She had a wonderful show career, beating some of the largest farms in the country, and she is making a phenomenal production dam! Charlotte took a blue ribbon in her first show out of a class of 11! Then she went on to take the Reserve Championship as a juvenile at the Virginia Classic! We were very proud of Charlotte! Charlotte has given us three beautiful cria. She had easy unassisted births and is a very attentive mother with plenty of milk. Charlotte historically throws the color of the male she is bred to. See photo of fleece for cria #3.
