Royal Mahogany

Medium Brown, 809827, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian

Mahogany is a proven Dam with lots of milk. She is a beautiful Maroon color, and has great conformation, large boned, and presence. Mahogany has color and quality from both her Silver Sire,Excalibur, who has won many awards for fleece and conformation, and from her Full Peruvian Dark Fawn Dam. Her 2000 Maroon cria took first place at MIAF 2001 and her 2001 cria, Rebel, a 1/2 Accoyo - Maroon, is a knockout! Mahogany 's beautiful, crimpy silver girl, "Bonny Katherine" is really worth checking out.

A beautiful rose grey boy was delivered on 7/30/07. A very soft and crimpy, heavily fleeced male with outstanding color. Fire N Ice has done a good job imparting that grey and mixing it with Mahogany's beautiful Maroon. Look for Prince Henri's page.

She has been bred for her 2008 cria, and we will be anxious to see the next progeny.

  My Peruvian Achiever
    Light Brown, 835617, Full Peruvian

My Peruvian Achiever already has quite a show winning record. He is a beautiful alpaca with excellent light brown fleece. Achiever now has 5 crias on the ground (2 males & 3 females). All of his crias have been brown or black. One cria sold at auction for $25,000 and another took first place at the Michigan Breeder's show in a tough class of 6. We are excited to see how his 3 spring crias do! We are accepting limited outside breedings.

Note: We can now accept Visa & Mastercard for all breedings!

Announcing our new future herdsire, Maurice. Son of our Mahogany, who's deep rich maroon- brown color is a standout. Mahogany has a brilliant sheen to her fleece, and she has given that to her son. His Sire, Acheiver is a ribboned male whose fleece is exceptional. Just weeks old, Maurice is growing fast, and his fleece already is showing signs of excellence. He is crimpy, bundled, and lustrous.

First Show, Maurice did very well with a second place ribbon and missed the Reserve Championship by and inch! His fleece sold on the spot.

Congratulations to Joan and Alfred Stines. Maurice will be taking up residence at the Stines farm soon.

  Awards Received
