Tin Roof's Peruvian Almond Joy

Dark Rose Grey, 837846, Full Peruvian

Almond Joy has given us very vigorous, sturdy cria, and we think that Georgie, her daughter will follow suit. 2007 will bring us new bloodlines out of Augusto, so we are anxious to see what this cria year brings.
Her conformation is very good, great bite, strong babies, and she is a very attentive and protective mother. Both her cria were born unassisted and vigorous. Almond Joy also has that special attitude . She stands proud, watches over her babies, and is as sweet as can be to her humans. All in all, Almond joy is a "Joy" to have in our herd. Her interesting pattern and soft fleece make her a favorite with all our visitors.
Achiever has an incredible bright, dense, crimpy fleece. He has given us an outstanding cria, Corinna for 2007 .

Almond Joy has another success. Cria born this morning, 20.8# Very dense, bundled, and bright. Almond Joy gives us strong babies, and this is no exception. She was up and running before Jim got out to

  My Peruvian Achiever
    Light Brown, 835617, Full Peruvian

My Peruvian Achiever already has quite a show winning record. He is a beautiful alpaca with excellent light brown fleece. Achiever now has 5 crias on the ground (2 males & 3 females). All of his crias have been brown or black. One cria sold at auction for $25,000 and another took first place at the Michigan Breeder's show in a tough class of 6. We are excited to see how his 3 spring crias do! We are accepting limited outside breedings.

Note: We can now accept Visa & Mastercard for all breedings!

AKAPAKA Andre' Sold!

Listed by Lee and Jim  Wolney of Howell, MI

Print Listing | Certificate | Histogram

Andre' is our vigorous new future herdsire. His Dam, Almond Joy is well known to us to have strong, vigorous well conformed cria, and she has done it again. Andre was born unassisted, and was up and running before we started to feed in the early morning. He is a beautiful buttery carmel fawn color, but his legs show a great deal of rose grey. Almond Joy has quite a bit of rose grey in her neck, and down her midline, and I have a feeling this little boy has a rosy grey future! He is dense, bundled and crimpy, and may very well have fame in his future.

  Awards Received
Andre' took a fifth place ribbon out of a large class of 10, and competed against his half brother Maurice who took second place. The judge commented that he had a beautiful typey head, "very represetative of the breed" and beautiful color and very soft hand.
