Susie is a gentle, quality lady whose sister gave us Corona Dalalilly with fleece that earned a blue ribbon, color champion, and judge's choice at the 2005 Estes Park Wool Market. We bred Susie to MFI Giorgio Armani, Dally's sire producing a true black male cria with shiny tightly knotted bundles on July 18, 2007. His quality is so high, we immediately rebred Susie to Giorgio.
Giorgio has really proven himself with his 2004 crias. His crias all took first and second places in halter class at the 2005 Great Western Alpaca Show. He has been throwing silver grey, true black, dark brown, white, and rose grey crias!! Since the Great Western, he has been in high demand so schedule your breedings early!
Lordy takes after his half sister who did so well at the 2005 Estes Park Wool Market fleece show. His long, dense, shiny bright fleece looks simply luscious, and took 2nd place at EPWM in 2008. He is tall, well-conformed, and still growing, with an erect carriage and handsome head. His first shearing shows an extraordinary consistency. How often do you see a CV of only 13.7 in an IAC histogram? If you are looking for a striking young male with a consistent, glossy black, fine fleece, Lordy is your boy!
