MFI Peruvian CARLINA

|
|
Medium Silver Grey, 1165913, Full Peruvian
|
|
| | Carlina is a statuesque, full Peruvian medium silver gray female with outstanding conformation and exceptional fleece. Her fleece has pronounced tight crimp, is very fine and has wonderful density. Carlina is out of 5Peruvian Capanilla, a bay black female hand-selected at the 1997 Peruvian import, and CPeruvian Silvio, an outstanding herd sire known for his quality colored offspring.
At her very first show, the 2006 Breeder's Choice Futurity, Carlina took a Blue Ribbon. She then finished off her short, but very rewarding show career with a Blue Ribbon and Color Championship at the 2006 Green Mountain Fall Spectacular (an AOBA Level IV show).
Carlina was bred to an exceptional herd sire, 6Peruvian Don Timbo, a stunning silver gray male who was the first selection from that year's import. That combination rewarded us with a gorgeous silver gray female, Carlina's Peruvian Bonita Rosa and Bonita, with her dense, crimpy & soft fleece, | |

CONGRATULATIONS & THANK YOU ! Pat & John Flanagan, owners of SWALLOW HILL FARM in Hillsborough, NJ for the PURCHASE OF Navigator's COMMODORE!
Commodore arrived at the Flanagan's Swallow Hill Farm this fall and turned on his heels to go to the 2010 New Jersey Alpaca Classic Show where he won another Blue Ribbon ... beating out one of the Northeast's multiple color champions!
ABOUT COMMORDORE ... Grey Multiple Color Champion Navigator's color production statistics continue to be very consistent. Here is another true black (no white anywhere!) Navigator offspring this time out of our full Peruvian, medium silver grey Color Champion dam, MFI Peruvian Carlina.
In his first show, Commodore took a third place in a highly competitive class of 13 at the 2009 Green Mountain Show. Then, he stepped up to take 2 Blue Ribbons at the 2009 Coastal Classic.
Commodore is jet, jet black, very bright and sports that sought-after "soft rolling skin" which is indicative great density ... and he is VERY DENSE! His conformation was perfect from the start and his personality is charming.
We have retained breedings to this stunning male.
To see this alpacas pedigree, log on to the Alpaca Registry at http://www.alpacaregistry.com/ and do a search using the ARI number or alpacas full name.
