NWA DKM Esta

Dark Fawn, 1074284, 1/2 Peruvian

Very pretty girl. That's Esta. She is a darling alpaca with huge doe eyes and a gorgeous head and top-knot, as well as abundant soft, silky fleece. She has been a remarkable mom to her crias. Both off her offspring have been little beauties with fiber to die for. She is rebred to our Royal Fawn son, Sullivan for a March 09 baby.

    White, 828968, Full Peruvian

Hemingway's Tequila is the offspring of a superior dam, Peruvian Ayabaca, and the famous Peruvian Hemingway. He represents all the phenotypic expressions of those elite genetics that you would expect. He is alert, displays constitutional vigor, is well-proportioned, has good bone, and finishes off the package with cover to the grass and a beautiful head. But you must add his super fine fiber to the equation, which tested 15.8 microns at 12 months and 16.9 microns at 24 months! This fleece is spectacular. It is organized into tight, bundled staples that are blessed with high frequency crimp. Put it all together and you have the shear off champion at the 2003 Redmond AWE show. Alpaca fleece like Tequila's is worshipped worldwide in famous fashion houses for its superior softness and handle. It's herdsires like Tequila who will make it possible to nurture this fame.

Our Jack Daniels  (Hemingway grandson)

Distinction, Maturity, Harmony, Patience, Heritage, Legend: Jack Daniels! Just like the fine product Our Jack is named after, this stud can bring satisfaction to your ranch.

Looking for great bones and consistent coverage from head to toe and from rump to neck? Beautiful rich color? Jack's fiber is dense - and runs literally down between his toes! How about a total shear weight of ELEVEN POUNDS in 2009? 11.75 pounds in 2010? Over ten pounds in 2011,2012 and 2013.

His yarn is sold out every year - we have a waiting list for it because of it's lovely color and consistency.

This is your chance to have partial interest in Jack - you may have him at your ranch for six months, or keep him at ours and bring your gals (and others) here.

Jack's cria have fiber with his consistency, but have added some of their dams' fineness. They are taking after Jack with compact, sturdy frames and excellent fiber coverage. Eight cria on the ground, five female: white, rose gray, fawn and brown. Poor Jack does not get as much opportunity any more, as we have kept his female offspring as a focus of our breeding program. He would LOVE to work somewhere else part of the year!

Add a shot of Jack Daniels to your herd, we'll even add a bottle of Jack Daniel's for those owners who are over 21 years of age! Schedule your girl's date with Jack right away.
