Moriah's Sharaa

Bay Black, 839415, 3/4 Chilean

Sharaa's fleece is lustrous with rich, intense color, and was spun into amazing yarn that was used in our award-winning entries at 2009 AOBA Nationals, 2009 MAPACA and 2008 OABA Alpacafest. A hand-made shawl knitted by Christie won 1st place and "Best of Show" in the 2008 OABA Alpacafest Fiber Arts competition! Sharaa has deep, dark color almost everywhere you look in her background.

On 12-15-08 she delivered Obsydian's Black Diamond, a beautiful black male sired by My Peruvian Obsydian, (and Diamond has already taken a Reserve Champ and 2 Blue Ribbons)! Sharaa's 2006 cria, Sharduna, delivered a Bay Black female, Rumm Cake, sired by our own Rumm Runner, and a stunning Bay Black male, CCAP Onyx, sired by Obsydian. Be sure to check out Sharduna's listing for more information about this proven female and a possible package offering.

  My Peruvian Obsydian
    Bay Black, 838810, Full Peruvian

Peruvian Obsydian's first crias have hit the ground in COLOR! His true black son, Our Peruvian Chocolate Obsession, has won several blue ribbons and champion/reserve ribbons to date and he's still showing and still winning!

Peruvian Obsydian is the son of the elite 6Peruvian Itabuna and multiple champion producing 6Peruvian Dom Timbo. Obsydian's full sister is the famous Peruvian Ivanna, winner of no less than five championships. Obsydian has it all...beautiful black color, excellent phenotype and an outstanding fleece with tight crimping and a soft hand. Obsydian has crias on the ground that are winning in the showring!

Why pay for breeding fees, when you can have a herdsire for the cost of a breeding?

At the Best of the USA Show, Black Diamond stood 2nd in his Bay Black Yearling class, behind ONLY the eventual Reserve Color Champion! In his last show as a Juvenile, Black Diamond took the Blue Ribbon and Reserve Champion at the 2009 National Champions' Alpaca Show! In awarding Black Diamond 1st place, the judge commented that Black Diamond was the clear Class winner, with soft, dense fleece and the most consistent coverage over his body. Positive traits that also carried Black Diamond to Reserve Champion, his first banner!

In placing 1st at the 2009 Northern Illinois Show, Judge Kevin O'Leary commented that Black Diamond had the finest fleece with consistent coverage over his body, legs and running up his neck! A soft handle with a well-defined crimp style!

Obsydian's Black Diamond, a striking Black male, is growing up quickly. Out of our Bay Black dam, Sharaa who has deep, dark color in her background, and sired by My Peruvian Obsydian, an award-winning Bay Black herdsire, Black Diamond is already demonstrating his "show presence". He has good conformation and soft, fine fleece and tight, crimpy curls.

Now is a great time to take your breeding program to the next level by adding this future herdsire to your colored breeding program.
