Mirage's Munsee's Munchkin

Medium Brown, 810442, Full Peruvian

Munchkin gave birth to an as yet unnamed bay black male cria today, 10/07/06. She gave birth in the field, completely unassisted. The cria is very healthy and nursing well, from his very attentive Mom. This is Munchkin's 3rd cria, her 1st having had a cria of her own. All have very correct conformation, nice fiber and exceptional personalities. Munchkin is not a proven production female to miss out on. Feel free to visit our farm, see her other offspring and her nurturing skills in practice. We will Re-Breed Munchkin for you as part of this sale either now or in the Spring to any herdsire on our farm. We offer flexible financing options. Give us a call. 603.878.2183 Let's Talk Alpaca!!!

  Avalon's Peruvian Polaris
    White, 841114, Full Peruvian

Polaris continues to prove that he is an elite herdsire both in the show ring and with his "criations". At over 5 1/2 years of age, he has added a Blue Ribbon for his fleece to his awards from the 2007 AOBA National Fleece Show. How many herdsires do you know that are still being shown at 5 1/2 years of age? How many are winning? Polaris is! Polaris also received a Blue Ribbon at the 2007 NAAS and stood with his son Oliver in the first row for the Color Champion Class, with Oliver winning over 150+ other males. We are extremely proud of Polaris and the offspring he is producing. Out of 4 of his progeny that have shown, 2, Arlo & Oliver, became Color Champs their first time out: Arlo in 2006 and Oliver in 2007, both at the NAAS - a very large & extremely competitive show.
Polaris continues to throw his bone, his compact body, his very typey head and his elegant fleece ( look at his 2007 fiber stats at over 5 years of age!) to his offspring. The color of the cria does not mat

FIBER HERD SPECIAL: Use MANCO for breeding in an unregistered herd and bring his genetics for lingering fineness in dark colors to your fiber farm.

MANCO is another fantastic SMKF male from Avalon's Peruvian Polaris. This time the dam is our 1/2 Sollocota female, Munchkin. We named this new male SLEEPING MONK FARM MANCO after the Incan God who according to Incan legend created the Incan Civilization. Until Manco was shorn, we thought he was Bay Black, but there is no doubt about it now - Manco is a very bright True Black with correct conformation and a dense, fine fleece. Way to go Polaris! Take a minute to also notice the great bone, square body and the Polaris Head - this time all in beautiful TRUE BLACK. And all presented very proudly by SLEEPING MONK FARM MANCO.
MANCO also inherited his sire's laid back disposition.
MANCO will make a lovely addition to your fiber herd, bringing his bright, true black fleece with him!

MANCO is sold as a fiber male without an ARI certificate, because due to an ARI technicality, his registration is being held up. Eventually when this is all figured out, (hopefully!) he will have an ARI cert and his price as a TB offspring of POLARIS will increase. Buy him today and reap the benefits of his fiber now!

MANCO'S sire POLARIS produces, at 10 years of age, a Grade 3 fleece, using the Certified Sorting System - amazing!
