  BBFAI Batiste
    True Black, 817020, 1/2 Bolivian, 1/2 Peruvian

Batiste's offspring are nothing short of spectacular. He has thrown intense color including True Black, all shades of Brown and Fawn, as well as gray! They are stretchy Suris with locks and luster that have been winning in the show ring. This is the male to improve what your females have to offer.

It is not often that males stay with the breeding program for years, Batiste is still at it - producing wonderful cria of color. With dozens of babies on the ground, he has produced 100% Suri and 90% colored offspring. Batiste is 3-way co-owned by BBFAI in Minnesota, J4 Alpacas and Al Van Maren & Marianne Kidd in Illinois. Contact any of the farms for details. He resides permanently at J4 Alpacas in Woodstock, Illinois.

SSR Serena Sold!

If you're looking for a DENSELY fibered as well as lovely-colored animal, Serena is the one. She's also 'built like a brick house' just like her mom, Sabrina. Her sire is the true black Batiste.

Take a look at Serena's first baby, Kayllian. Her second, Sparky Herbert, looks just like mom. Her third is an absolutely adorable light brown female with luscious locks and a dollop of whipped cream above her right eye, SSR Patience. On July 27, 2009, she gave birth to a gorgeous Goliath male, King James. Serena is proving to be wonderful production female.

Congratulations to Amber Isaac, Silken Suri Alpaca Ranch in Golden, CO, on adding Serena to her herd!
