Black Chip's Queen of Hearts

Pattern, 839071, 1/4 Bolivian, 3/4 Peruvian

At the 2003 Midwest Alpaca Jamboree, judge Amanda VandenBosch said Queen of Hearts is the "total package" in a full-fleeced yearling suri female with a very typey head, great conformation, excellent coverage, nice locks and a cool hand.

Queenie was a wonderful showgirl and now she is a wonderful mom. She has had 4 large, healthy babies (See Lorna Dune, Dura Lock, Oliver and The Duke of SSR) with uncomplicated deliveries. She is a good, attentive mom with lots of milk. A higher quality female suri alpaca would be very difficult to find.

Queenie gave birth to this light brown suri boy on Mother's Day--the first cria to hit the ground from Captain Morgan's Privateer. He was running around after only 45 minutes.

  Captain Morgan Privateer
    Dark Brown, 30504202, 1/4 Bolivian, 3/4 Peruvian

This MacGyver/Inca grandson has the luster, density of fleece and strong conformation that all alpaca breeders are striving for in their breeding programs. Privateer has acquired an impressive show record.

Cap is a handsome, full-boned male with dense and lustrous fleece. His regrowth is exceptional. He also carries the name of how we described these wonderful animals when we first met them. Cap is the first cria sired by Captain Morgan Privateer, owned by Dennis and Christy Pace of Pacesetter Alpacas, and he has a mischievous personality, commanding presence, and stately conformation. He will be ready to begin his breeding career in 2011 and will also appear in 2011 showrings.
