Peruvian Porsch-A

Dark Brown, 177018, Peruvian

  MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite
    True Black, 810349, Full Peruvian

Like his incredible sire before him (4Peruvian Matador) Black Mesquite is already producing champion offspring: Ineffable, Butterball, Panasche and Oil Slick to name a few. His rock-solid color genetics and incredible dense, crimpy fleece makes this pre-potent male "one-of-a-kind". His outside breedings will be limited.

Update: We need to make room in the Stud Barn and this guy pulled the short straw! Take advantage of this great deal!

***UPDATE*** His son - DCF Arturo - has just brought home a Blue Ribbon at the AOBA World Alpaca Fleece Show!***

Panasche has made significant improvements to our colored dams fleeces and has undeniably taken those fleeces to the next level.

This male will be a considerable addition to any breeding program concerned with producing high quality fleece.

His deeply crimped and bundled locks are striking. The quality of this fleece should not be under estimated - it is unusual to see such a dark alpaca with his kind outstanding crimp character - it truly borders elite - and he’s reproducing it in his cria!

Panasche was skin biopsy tested at 37 months old - Dr. Jim Watts, "The alpaca has high levels of fiber density" Outstanding not only because it stands well above the national average but also for a dark alpaca!

Among Panasche's first cria, all have excellent crimp character with several very special Juvi's - a MB male, a MF male and a TB male that have all raised eye-brows in the ring this year.

He has now produced ribbon winners in fawn, brown, black and grey and will certainly produce many more in the years to come. We believe that every colored breeding program needs his crimp style and density.

Before her retirement from judging, Maggie Krieger, one of the best international Judges in the world, gave Panasche the Color Championship in a field of 33 brown males and raved about his outstanding fleece character and incredible density!
