We were thrilled with Dyani right from the start. Even as a cria, she had an absolutely stunning head and personality to go with it. Dyani has very straight legs and nice proportions. She is gentle and curious. Her fiber is a rich medium fawn with consistent fineness and crimp. She has taken numerous Hand Spinner's awards with very favorable comments from the judges. Her dam is one of our favorite old girls here on the farm. This maternal line has been awesome at mothering, with easy breeding, more than ample milk, and their attentiveness to their cria. Dyani's maternal maroon sister has produced rose gray for us two times now! Dyani's Peruvian sire, Cougar, has proven that he can throw multiple colors just as his sire Romantico has done. Dyani's paternal True Black Brother, Panther, is a well-deserved, 2X Color Champion! We are anxious to see what this beautiful girl can produce for us. We have no doubt that her cria will be headed for the show ring!!!
Sheer Galaxy is the most advanced fleece on our farm. It is considerably dense, consistent, and has brightness like no other. It is so lustrous it can just about reflect moon beams! Additionally, his frame is idea - nice and square with large bone and a very correct jaw set.
Sheer Galaxy has enjoyed a terrific start in the show ring and has won acclaim from some of our industries best judges. Their comments include
Mike Safley at 2006 NY Alpaca Extravaganza: absolutely beautiful, bright fleece; nothing to improve upon here; couldn't ask for a nicer animal.
Wade Gease at 2006 Ohio AlpacaFest: correct from every angle; very nice frame; extremely consistent; bountiful brightness; look of satin with a silky feel.
Sheer Galaxy settled his first female at just 1 year 9 months of age (Aug '07). It is our intention to breed him to our best females this year. He has been breeding to A. L. Paca's best Aga Khan, Simba and Linebacker daughters. These females

Sheer Brilliance---his name says it all!! He has an extremely bright fleece!! We initially felt he was white, but he has a fawn shading to his ears and topknot. Brilliance also carries a wonderful presence, and great straight and proportional conformation. We did an outside breeding to get this boy!--of which we do very few. Pairing Sheer Galaxy's extremely bright and advanced dense fleece, with our fabulous Peruvian Cougar fawn daughter, gave us great results. Brilliance's dam was a first time Mom with him and acted like a total pro!! Dyani's line our our farm is one of my very favorites. It is a very strong milking and mothering line, with very solid dams. They all love their cria and are absolutely wonderful with them. Dyani has a wonderful handle to her fiber as evidenced by her fiber top show wins! She also has a spectacular head which she has passed on to Brilliance! We were surprised we actually got a male, as this line also produces mostly female cria!---but with Brilliance we were not disappointed. Sheer Galaxy cria have just started to hit the show ring and are already bringing home Championships. Half interest of Sheer Galaxy sold for $100,000.00 and half interest of his one son sold for $40,000.00!! We feel fortunate to have one of his first sons. We really look forward to watching this male develop and anticipate him heading for herdsire row in the future. We are really not interested in selling him, but would entertain the idea of a 1/2 interest ownership with the right farm. Keep an eye out for Brilliance as his brightness will knock your socks off!!
