LONESOME STONE'S Brown Eyed Susie

Medium Brown, 30391079

Susie is a gentle, quality lady whose sister gave us Corona Dallalily with fleece that earned a blue ribbon, color champion, and judge's choice at the 2005 Estes Park Wool Market. We bred Susie to MFI Giorgio Armani, Dally's sire, producing a true black male cria with shiny tightly knotted bundles on July 18, 2007. His quality is so high, we immediately rebred Susie to Giorgio. That breeding produced a beautiful medium rose gray female, Maria Euhenia (Henita). With Susie's good mothering and abundant milk, tall, elegant Henita weighed 102 lbs. at 9 months! This time Susie is carrying our lead herdsire's (Fifty Caliber) cria with a due date in June 2009.

  HRAZ Fifty Caliber
    White, 1435658, 7/8 Peruvian

Fifty is a promising son of Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon. With grandsires Peruvian Accoyo Legacy and Accoyo Caligula, Fifty Caliber is 3/4 Accoyo, nearly full Peruvian and a worthy descendant of these outstanding herdsires. His photo shows him after winning blue and red ribbons at the 2006 Southwest Regional Alpaca Show under Senior Judge Jude Anderson.

Fifty's fiber has bright, pure white, deep, 8 crimps per inch, with matchstick bundling, great handle and near total uniformity (minimal kemp on his chest). His density is proven by the fact he sheared over 11 lbs in 2008! Nifty has great presence, fiber characteristics and conformation, and a stable AFD for years! Couple that with his pedigree and a breeder just can't go wrong. An inexpensive way to add Caligula and Snowmass genetics to your herd!

Fifty Caliber shattered his femur at 7 months of age. It was rod-and wired back together at Colorado State University, and he has recovered fully. The injury and recovery

Our lead herdsire's first male cria. His silky-fine, very dense, fleece has the bright luster from his sire and the beautiful red-brown color from his mother. The long term question is, "Will he inherit his sire's uniformity and and unchanging fineness with age?"
