Stoney Elm Indigo

Medium Rose Grey, 1402292

Indigo is a fabulous silver gray alpaca. At shearing time she was 4.5 inches for her second shearing. Look and see the award and shows that she has been entered into.
The judges loved her fineness and handle as well as the lack of medullation and annualized wieght. She rated high for Micron, lengh and color uniformity.
She rated a nine out of 10in brightness from Ruth Elvestad.
She has the color, confirmation and presence that gray alpaca fanciers are looking for.Look what she has given us sired buy Siver Legend, and I't is a female! She is bred back to him now.

  TIMBER BASIN Rubio's Silver Legend
Medium Silver Grey, 30488830, 5/8 Chilean, 3/8 Peruvian

I have looked long & hard for a silver grey male with superior fleece traits to add to our herdsire line-up. Ask anyone that knows me, I am thorough to a fault & in this case, it has paid off. Therefore, it brings us great pleasure to introduce...Rubio`s Silver Legend! He sports a stunning silver grey fleece that actually appears almost blue in color, most likely due to the fact that he has true grey fibers, not a combination of white & black fibers as with most grey alpacas. He also boasts the traditional tuxedo markings, a proud head & deep, dark eyes. His fleece has very impressive density & character; is very bright & maintains a silky, soft hand, with amazing loft. On top of all this, I must admit that I am most impressed by the lack of guard hair at his age, his uniformity & extension of his prime fleece is superior! He is a well conformed male, with very good coverage & bite. His sire, Permier's Rubio has phenomenal rose grey fiber & is maintaining his elite fiber characteristi
