Little Shanna's Brandy

Medium Brown, 1377750, 1/4 Chilean, 5/8 Peruvian, 1/8 Other/Unknown

As you can see by her pictures, she is a beautiful girl. She has dense fiber with beautiful bundles and crimp. She is a warm medium brown color and she is just as sweet as she is pretty. When we have visitors to the farm she is one we love to show because she is so even tempered and she likes to have her ears scratched.

Brandy gave birth on July 17th to a gorgeous male, 23 lbs. 7 oz. He is just stunning as you can see by his picture. She is a wonderful mom and he is thriving, he gained 3/4 lb. the first day.

Little Shanna's Brandy has a award winning lineage which includes: Accoyo Caligula, Peruvian Presidio, Peruvian Pluro and Peruvian King. Her sire is Xanadu 'Round Midnight, who was Color Champion Fleece 2003 Great Western Alpaca Show, Color Champion 2002 Kentucky Classic, 2002 Utah Wild West Show, 1st Place 2001 Estes Park and 2002 Santa Fe Alpaca Show; 2nd Place 2002 All American Futurity and a Xanadu Peruvian Presidio son.

Her dam, Little Shanna, is al

  Express's Accoyo Expressions
    Medium Fawn, 30017718, Full Peruvian

Rare Full Accoyo - Medium Fawn Color
Update: 9 crias on the ground and all with color

Express’s Accoyo Expressions is the spitting image of his sire, who is the well known fawn CPeruvian Accoyo Express 0222 (now in restricted breeding). An amazing 80% of the time his sire Accoyo Express's phenomenal crias are the color of the dam or darker. Accoyo Expressions’s should produce the same results. Expression's fleece is fine, bright and lustrous with berber rug density. His very fine fibers display a well defined, bold crimp that parts in bundles. If you want crias with a show-winning stature, flawless conformation and very fine fleece then Expressions is your herdsire.

On top of that, add the rarity of a colored Accoyo from the now deceased CPeruvian Accoyo Albus bloodline to your herd today. His grandsire, Accoyo Albus, had only five registered offspring in the U.S. and Accoyo Express (Expression's sire) is the only male he produced in the States before being

We were hoping for something special when we bred one of our best females with Express's Accoyo Expressions and we were not disappointed. Ares was born at 23.5 lbs. and has gained 3/4 lbs. to 1 lb. per day and just look at that color. His ears, muzzle and feet are black, his leg fiber is silver grey and medium rose grey. His eyes are rimmed with black and his blanket area is dark silver grey. Ares is what AOBA calls a "modern grey". He is beyond our expectations and he seems to know that he is something special.

Update: our black female, Artemis, had a baby girl 10 days ago and the sire is Ares. We were told that modern grey usually do not pass on their traits and color but this little cria looks just like her Daddy, grey ears and all.
