KPR Super Star

Medium Silver Grey, 820958

Meet Super Star. She is a half Peruvian grey female with some of the most beautiful fleece I have ever seen on a grey alpaca. The crimp is strong and even throughout her entire fleece and she has an incredibly soft handle. Check out her micron count! She's compact and her conformation is very good. She has outstanding coverage all the way down her legs. She has been a super mom with plenty of milk. Super Star's first cria was a half Peruvian grey female (Lorie Darlin'). In 2005 she had a 20.4 pound true black male, "LSH Draakar." In September she blessed me with a gorgeous rose grey female, "LSH Silka."

Super Star is rebred to Silka's sire, LSH Augustus for a Fall 2007 cria. Super Star is out of the well known 5Peruvian Royal Inca Legend and Augustus' lineage includes SA Silverado, Peruvian White Out and C4 Merrill.

Silka is the matriarch of our herd and the Dam of our very first cria. She is a classic silver grey; has a consistently fine and soft fleece, and great confirmation. Silka’s first cria is a beautiful medium rose grey girl. We were so pleased with that outcome, we bred her to LRA Silver Thunder again and this time she gave us a beautiful medium rose grey boy, Moose Creek’s Chief Grey Thunder. Chief is a Color Champion and multi-blue ribbon winner.

She is a great mother to her little ones, a very easy-birther, and has milk to spare. Silka's most recent birth was to Moose Creek's Carries the Spirit. Carri is a beautiful rose grey female with quite fine fleece.

Silka has great bloodlines in C4 Merrill, Peruvian White Out, SA Silverado and ,5Peruvian Royal Inca Legend. If you are looking for deep grey roots, both her Dam and her Sire are grey beauties, with grey going back to importation.
