Three B R Crickett

True Black, 804435, Full Chilean

Crickett is solid black - with abundant fleece that covers all four legs completly (can't see her toes for the fleece covering them - passes that on to her cria). She has heavy leg bones, good conformation, and a good bite. Crickett is an excellent mother with plenty of milk and doesn't require any assistance when birthing. She is an excellent foundation female for us and we hate to part with her but we must disperse our herd. Her 2005 son (Navarro), her daughter (Mariska), (see their AlpacaNation listings) and her 2007 cria (Baron), are examples of the excellent offspring she's given us.

The only reason she has not been rebred is because of our need to downsize our herd. Crickett comes with a breeding to our true black multiple blue ribbon herdsire, Conan The Great.

As a yearling, her black son (Navarro) sheared 9.1 pounds of total fiber--a black YEARLING! Crickett's 2007 son, Baron, is every bit as nice as his big brother Navarro.

  Conan The Great
    True Black, 800917, Full Chilean

Conan is a well-proven blue ribbon herdsire in fleece and halter. His fleece is true black (black black), very dense, with nice crimp. Conan's conformation and fleece characteristics are passed on to his cria, resulting in many award winners - particularly blue ribbons in both halter and fleece along with two Color Champions in halter (composite) and a Reserve Color Champion in fleece. He is easy to handle and has a mellow personality (gives kisses) which is also passed on to his cria.

Shearing Weight
2008: Total (5 1/2 mos): 4.2 lbs, Blanket 2.2 lbs
2009: Total: 7.6 lbs, Blanket: 3.9 lbs

FANTASTIC FIBER! Shiny very black and abundant fleece with a long staple length, wonderful handle and very nice crimp. He sheared over 7 1/2 pounds with a 4 pound blanket as a yearling. The yarn made from his fleece is fantastic! Baron is very easy to handle, halter trained, micro chipped, and BVDV free.

Baron and Rook (see Rook's listing) have been raised together since birth. They are both gelded because we have their sire as our stud and they are related to many of our females.
