GalPaca Farm's Aunt Helen

Light Brown, 30895607, 1/2 Peruvian

Everyone needs an Aunt Helen in their family. Aunt Helen is a stunning 1/2 Accoyo light brown girl. She has inherited her dams density (first place fleece in National show) and the length of her sire, Caligulas Accoyo Alabaster. Aunt Helen came out running, following a picture perfect delivery, and has never stopped. She is a solid, strong gal and has also inherited her dams perfect conformation. Aunt Helen is a gem and we can't wait for her to shine!

Aunt Helen sheared an amazing 4+ pounds of cria fleece, annualized her cria blanket would be 4 pounds alone!

As a new mother, Aunt Helen did not let us down with her first cria Anejo Gold who was sired by our own Ferrari's Excel. Be sure to check out this little guy.

Aunt Helen has been bred to a beautiful full Peruvian True Black male, Midnight Man. We are looking forward to this pairing. Check out Midnight Man's stats and Aunt Helen's first born Anejo for a preview of what we might expect.

  Ferrari's Excel
    Beige, 30848757, 3/4 Peruvian

We know we picked a winner here! Our search for a herdsire that had tight crimp from end to end, incredible density and fineness, resulted in Excel. Excel clearly inherited these traits from his sire Sonora's Accoyo Ferrari, Peruvian full Accoyo. Digging back further you'll find Caligula and Victor on the family tree.

Excel just posted amazing results from a recent skin biopsy. Ian Watt commented on Excel's "high density with good S/P figures". Including "a bonus feature in the below 4 micron SD for each of the two fiber types-a very desireable feature in any alpaca male of quality."

Here is a chance to get some West Coast genetics into your Midwestern herd. Come take a look at Excel, you won't be disappointed. Take advantage of Galpaca Farm's generous breedback offer with the purchase of any female to obtain an Excel breeding.

Excel's first cria will be hitting the ground this spring. Stay tuned!

He's young, he's cute but aren't they all? Anejo has lustrous fleece that spirals into magical little bundles.

While Anejo is lovely animal, he is just short of becoming a herdsire. As a result, he will make a super fiber animal for anyone looking for outstanding fleece and a temperament that makes him an easy keeper.

Anejo is one of our favorite fiber boys. Just ask the knitters who work with his yarn. True to his sire Excel, Anejo packs on the fleece with that 'WOW" factor. Anejo is long, dense and and bundles full of character... did we mention he is dense! Anyone looking for a super fiber animal who is an easy keeper should give Anejo a look!
