RRA Granite's Jacqueline

Medium Silver Grey, 826094, 1/2 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian

Jacqueline is the lady of our herd. We are very proud of her. She has accumulated multiple ribbons, including two ribbons from the 2002 AOBA National in halter and hand-spinner's fiber competition. Her conformation is very correct. She is very gentle and is more than happy to come take a nibble of grain from your hand. She has wonderful density and coverage for a gray animal and she is currently bred to a beautiful gray male from Royal Fawn lines. Jacqueline was barely weaned when she arrived to Havenfield and she immediately bonded with our guard llama, Annie, as if she was her mother. To this day they still are best of friends. Their interactions are priceless.

  A.L. PACA's Khanoisseur
    Light Fawn, 30916180, Full Peruvian

Sometimes pedigree just speaks for itself!!SHERE KHAN, ALLIN CAPAC, VENGADOR, CALIGULA, BEST ALA BEST, AZUL CELESTE (Dam to Rensaleer, Peruvian Captain Nemo in Canada, and El Senor who recently sold for $165,000!!), and THE AGA KHAN!!!(Sold for $217,000!!) We were looking for an impact herdsire that would propel our program even further than we have come. What better imaginable pedigree could we come up with than crossing the awesome Aga Khan with the famous Simba line? We found just that animal in Khanoisseur! I fell in love with him the first time I saw him! He did very well in the 2007 show circuit. He was always standing out front in the extremely competitive light fawn class, next to the top farms in the country! Judge after Judge raved about his dense, luxurious fawn fleece. Khanoisseur honored his sire by helping The Aga Khan get two of his Get of Sire 1st Place wins this year! Our breeding program is focused on improving the quality/characteristics in color

Well, we wanted to see if our Khanoisseur could throw gray babies!! He did it!! We were so pleased when Jacqueline presented us with her rose gray baby girl!! Khanstellation had tight, crimpy fleece from day one, coupled with a very pleasant hand and fineness to her fleece. She is turning more gray as she matures. She has a wonderful style to her, with correct proportions, lovely head, and curious, playful personality. Khanstellation always likes to come over and check you out as you enter her area. Her silver gray dam did quite well in her show career and has proved herself to be an attentive, loving mother. Khanoisseur has proven he can produce quality and beautiful color for us! We look forward to watching Khanstellation grow and mature. She will continue to be part of our show string. The judge at MAPACA was very complimentary to her fleece fineness and style. She was still trying to get used to that whole halter and lead thing at the show!! We can't wait to get her cria fleece off of her and see the regrowth!! Khanstellation will be one of our bright future stars!!
