Majestic Peruvian Carmela

Light Fawn, 1411638, Full Peruvian

Carmela is a lovely fawn daughter of MFI Peruvian Jericho and Behold Peruvian Carmel Doll, a daughter of 5Peruvian Camelot. Bred to MFI Obsidian, Carmela produced a spectacular maroon female cria on August 31, 2007, Quarry Ridge Marimba.

September of 2008, Carmela delivered a truly sensational fawn male cria out of AML El Duro's Principio. We are really excited about this young macho. Check out his show record on his own AN page - QR Principio's Grand Slam.

September of 2009, Carmela gave us another lovely medium fawn male out of NM Beethoven. Little Piano Man just placed 3rd in a large class at the North American Show at the age of 6 months and he and his brother won the blue in Produce of Dam for their mom, Carmela. At MAPACA 2010, Piano Man placed 3rd and 2nd in Produce of Dam Then he place 2nd at the NorthEast Expo 2010 and 1st in Produce of Dam.

Carmela is currently bred to Archangel's Malachi for another September birth.

    Light Brown, 30503663, 1/4 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian, 1/4 Other/Unknown

Beethoven's 2009 crop of crias was spectacular. They've spent this Spring proving themselves in the show rings by winning banners & ribbons galore! They carry their daddy's distinctive head and wonderful density. So far Beethoven has thrown bay black, dark brown, light brown, all shades of fawn, white, and one rose grey. We look forward to meeting the Class of 2010!

During his show career, Beethoven won 12 CHAMPIONSHIPS with his most coveted banners being awarded to him as a yearling by Mike Safley at the North American Alpaca Show, Amanda VanderBosch at The Futurity, and Jude Anderson at MAPACA.

Overall, Beethoven's wins represent the opinions of ten different judges. They all agree that his beautifully balanced bone structure and exquisite bright fiber are deserving of his incredible string of championships. We fully agree and are looking forward to meeting more of his progeny.

Beethoven is quite simply a masterpiece, with dense, consistent fiber which

This boy is a genetic Power House. His dam is an award-winning Jericho daughter who has already produced 2 champions. And his sire is Beethoven, winner of 12 Championship banners. WOW! The Piano Man holds his own in this line-up of stars. He is compact and square with correct conformation, a lovely head and excellent bite, and soft, bright fiber with well defined crimp out to the tips.

Piano Man's older sibling, Quarry Ridge Grand Slam, has won 5 banners and 9 blue ribbons. And his half-sister, Quarry Ridge Marimba, is also a Champion. The Piano Man has shown only 3 times as a juvenile and has already garnered 7 top ribbons at very large shows.

If you are looking for a junior herdsire to go to work for you next year, Piano Man will add his own superior traits to your herd and also the incredible bloodlines of a Jericho/Beethoven cross.
