Peruvian Tana

White, 823572, Full Peruvian

Tana is a full Peruvian daughter of the late Peruvian Dakotia. She has produced both white and colored offspring and has produced 3 lovely daughters and one son for us in the last 2 years. She is an easy breeder, birther, and has plentiful milk for her cria. She is an attentive and nurturing mom.

Tana is currently bred to our Charles P. Atlas (female-maker extraordinaire ) for a spring 2011 cria.

  Charles P. Atlas
    Medium Fawn, 1394924, Full Peruvian

Congratulations to his lovely daughter One Fine Day Clarisse who won fawn female color champion and then the coveted Judges Choice Award at the Indiana Invitational Show!!!!!

Charles won his FIFTH Get of Sire Blue ribbon at the 2009 Best of the Midwest Alpaca Show! Each of his wins has been in front of a different pair of judges and has used different offspring.

The Best of the Midwest Show saw 3 of his offspring win color banners. In her first show at just over 6 months of age, his Bay Black daughter Miss Clementine Atlas, won the blue ribbon in a large class, and then went on to win the Black Female Color Championship. Coffee Pot Indiana Jones and Coffee Pot Idelava both took the blue and went on to win the Reserve Champion Banner in both male and female brown.

His offspring had their first show year in 2008:

True Black Lady Tiffany Color Champion
Bay Black son Mapquest Color Champion
Fawn daughter Irreplaceable 3 time Color Champion

Whistler's Peruvian Buckingham Sold!

Our cria barn is bursting with boys who need to move up to the big boy barn soon. A surplus of boys means we need to take drastic actions - this show winning male could do great things for your herd - credit cards accepted!

This Charles Atlas son did quite well as a juvie on our show string this spring. He has his father's trademark presence and heavy circumference of bone. He has the Charles head with broad muzzle, long eyelashes, and topknot that goes right down onto the ridge of his nose. Level topline and good leg alignment round out his physical attributes.

His fleece is berber dense, with brightness, soft soft handle, consistent high frequency crimp and organization.

Though beige, Buckingham should produce darker color with good regularity as he has Accoyo Timoteo, Peruvian Quetzal, Peruvian Matador, and Peruvian Dakotia in his pedigree. His full sister, Treasure, born in 2009 is a medium fawn.

If you are interested in Buckingham, give us a call to come by and meet him.

Buckingham qualifies for our Future Herdsire guarantee. If you decide not to use him as a herdsire when he reaches maturity, we will issue you a breeding credit for his full purchase price which can be used towards breedings to any of our herdsires.
