The epitome of foundation female. Cleo has produced one outstanding offspring after another. We have rebred her to Charles P. Atlas for the 4th time and expect that cria in 2011.

Congratulations to his lovely daughter One Fine Day Clarisse who won fawn female color champion and then the coveted Judges Choice Award at the Indiana Invitational Show!!!!!

Charles won his FIFTH Get of Sire Blue ribbon at the 2009 Best of the Midwest Alpaca Show! Each of his wins has been in front of a different pair of judges and has used different offspring.

The Best of the Midwest Show saw 3 of his offspring win color banners. In her first show at just over 6 months of age, his Bay Black daughter Miss Clementine Atlas, won the blue ribbon in a large class, and then went on to win the Black Female Color Championship. Coffee Pot Indiana Jones and Coffee Pot Idelava both took the blue and went on to win the Reserve Champion Banner in both male and female brown.

His offspring had their first show year in 2008:

True Black Lady Tiffany Color Champion
Bay Black son Mapquest Color Champion
Fawn daughter Irreplaceable 3 time Color Champion

This is a bold name for a young male to live up to but we think Ringo will have no problem carrying it off. He is the product of the third breeding we have done between his dam Cleopatra and our Charles P. Atlas. His oldest sister Clementine is bay black and a color champion, who will be offered in the 2011 All American Futurity sale in Omaha. His other sister Karlotta is a lovely medium brown vicuna who took 2nd in a large class at the Empire show.

He has excellent proportion and is correct conformationally in every aspect. His fleece is just simply fabulous. It is one of the closest I have seen to his sire's as a cria. Charles exhibited the same tight high frequency crimp with excellent organization and fineness. His color is consistent. The handle is soft and luxurious. And it is hard to believe that a youngster can pack on as much density as this young man has done.

And he carries alot of dark genetics. We always look for fawn males who have the ability to produce much darker than themselves. Lord of the Rings not only has those genetics but his full sister is a bay black so he is the perfect fawn for breeding to dark and gray colors.

He was born in late August so was not shorn in 2011 but we feel strongly enough about his potential that we will be entering him in the spring shows.

He is offered with our young male guarantee - if you decide not to use him for breeding when he reaches his maturity we will give you a credit toward breedings to our other herdsires equal to the amount you paid for him.
