Qolmesa Peruvian Crystal

Medium Brown, 1307245, Full Peruvian

Crystal's show record is amazing(many believe she has the best brown fleece they have ever seen) but now she is doing amazing things with her offspring.

This year Rico Suave offspring, He is the best huacaya born on our farm! In 2008-09 Crystal gave birth to 2 TRUE BLACKs, 7Xchamp AROSA Dazzlyn, and Tuscan Black! This was a great way to follow up her first daughter,4X champion , Laila, who boasts a 17 micron at 3 years of age.

Crystal's genetics and showring dominance placed her as Co-Captain of The AlpacaRosa Fab5 Dream team.

Crystal did not start her show career until she was 15 months old, winning 5 championships and 10 Blue Ribbons after the age of 15 months, rather amazing when you think about it!

Crystal is Simply the BEST brown huacaya fleeced girl we have ever seen. Her fleece rivals an "elite-fleeced" WHITE champion. When you are here visiting the farm, be sure to ask to see this girl. Her fleece is VERY dense with extrodinary bundling and a 19

Awesome, McDreamy is taking down females everyday.....Loved to see him take down Prissy Pants, because that will be next years pairing.

sold half interest to farm in Colorado, so look for him there in 2013.

What a steamy Pedigree McDreamy has.....
His 5X champion dam, Qolmesa Crystal(victor vaccoyo grandaughter), won Color Championship at the 2006 Futuriy. She is 7 years old and still maintains a 23 AFD with 17CV. McDreamys sire is Rico Suave(Hemingway, Accoyo Elite son), who Most recently won reserve championship at the first Maturity,.... as a 10 year old. His fiber histogram revealed that he was carrying a blanket with a 16.7 AFD. YES, Rico's 10 year old fiber was recorded at 16.7 AFD.

2011 histogram 16.21 4.01 24.76 100.0

McDreamy is a boy that we were disppointed with at birth. He was fawn out of his brown 5X Champion dam. She previously has birthed 2 black and 1 brown multiple champion offspring . So we had our hopes pretty high for color. As he matured his fleece came in wow-wow and so we are now quite pleased .

McDreamys fineness is what we have come to expect from Rico. After all, Rico possessed a 16.7 AFD at age 10, and he regularly is sending this trait to his offspring.
But what is even more exciting about this boy is his high frequency crimp, and extreme brightness to go along with a very dense fleece. Mary Reed said he has elite fleece, incredibly fine AND dense

Really looking foward to getting him in the ring this coming year.
It is going to be interesting watching the judging of McDreamy because he will not impress the judges walking into the ring. When they open his fleece, well, uh, that will be another thing.
His sisters were multiple champions:
AROSA Dazzlyn winning 7 championships
AROSA Laila winning 4 championships the most recent being 2010 AOBA Nationals

  Awards Received
2nd Place 2011 Best US fawn Juvi halter Geese loved his "incredible fineness and amazing handle"
2nd Place 2011 National Champions fleece
5th Place 2011 National Champions show. Judge Reed commented best fleece in the class and everyone in the audience should come down and take a look at his incredible fleece. Lower placing due to maturity.
