Brunello is an extremely dense, very square and correct male. His highly crimped fleece retains it's character every year and after every shearing. Brunello is a Studmaster male which makes all his offspring eligible for inclusion in the Ideal Alpaca Community. His offspring all exhibit his very mello, easy going and pleasing temperament. Brunello was Fawn Reserve CColor Champion at AWE in 2003.
Maddy was born unexpectedly after midnight, thus her name. She exhibits density, long legs, perfect bite and great color genetics. Her silver grey sire, Aussie Rockford has produced many champions. We dream about her future breeding potential.
Maddy produced an awesome female cria out of Bisturi, a dark rose grey male. This cria looks jet black, but acutually may have some dark grey fibers in her fleece. Maddy was subsequently bred to MSA Peruvian Brunello and produced another female. This pairing produced a powerhouse of genetics, not to mention incredible fleece, color, bone and density. We are truly blown away with this female's color. She looks to be an inverted appaloosa. This cria, Harlequin Romance, was shown at Ventura at the International Alpaca Odessey in 2011 where she placed Best of Show in Huacaya Female Head and 1st Place in Cottage Division Fleece. Romance can be seen under our female listing.
Maddy was rebred in 2011 to Brunello with a cria due in March, 2012. We can't wait to see what this pairing produces this time. Another Romance?
