Patagonia's Alemendra

Dark Brown, 184448, Chilean

A solid foundation female, presently at Alpacas de la Patagonia in Washington State. She is a deep maroon who has had 6 maroon crias in a row. What a consistent beauty.

  Sinopsis Nocturna
    True Black, 184534, Chilean

Sinopsis Nocturna is jet black and fine. His outstanding fleece was recognized at the 1999 AOBA conference, where it was awarded the blue ribbon. This proud stud has produced 100% black offspring from black dams and many black crias from dams of other colors. His crias have beautiful heads, and elegant presence.

Get ready for spring breeding season, and add color and conformation to your herd. Niceros is a handsome specimen who loves the ladies, and gets right down to business. Our farm helper calls him "Studmuffin," and every time our camelid-owning vet visits he comments on his color, conformation and manageable size - he maintains a steady 135#. He has a high percentage of first attempt successful breedings, and has sired a preponderance of female crias. His shiny fiber, with its dark red highlights - readily seen in the photo - and his proud carriage are eye-catching. Clarity of TKY, out of NCG Liberty, is a well-covered, fine-fleeced delight, dark brown with maroon highlights. His 2011 crias, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, crushed velvet light brown with gold highlights, and Roxie's Orion, dark brown with his sire's red highlights, are both lovely animals.

He is the son of Sinopsis Nocturna (formerly of Alpacas de la Patagonia) who is one of the most consistent and celebrated black huacays in the country, and Patagonian Almendra, an amazing maroon dam regularly producing maroon crias with top quality fleece.
