Precious is a sweet older female with big beautiful eyes. She has dense soft fleece even though she has 6 offspring -three males and three females.
UPDATE #1: OUR FIRST CRIA and Precious' 5th cria was born on Sunday, April 1st, 2012 about 1:45 PM. She weighted 19 pounds, has soft curly medium fawn fleece, and has become very active. Her name is Precious Rubie and she is a real cutie!! Her dad is Destiny's Coyo Rubio.
UPDATE #2: It's a Boy!! Precious' 6th cria was born on Oct. 8, 2013 around 3 PM. His name is Jerae's Tobias AKA Toby. He weighed just over 13 pounds but is extremely alert and active. His dad is our fine herd sire, Jamocha. Toby is patterned like his mom, Precious and his sister, Rubie.
UPDATE #3: Precious is currently bred to Destiny's Peruvian Castille (light rose gray). Their cria is due in May 2016.
Three-quarters accoyo and full Peruvian, Rubio has one of the sweetest male faces we have seen. Big beautiful eyes lined with soft black eyeliner smiling at you everyday. I know you don't call boys 'beautiful' but I can't help myself. This boy IS beautiful! His fleece is SOFT, like silken gold, crimpy, and fades from medium fawn to light fawn to cream. His conformation is excellent and his bone is strong. Rubio's muzzle is gray and his toenails are black. His disposition is outstanding. 3/4 Accoyo, full Peruvian, blue ribbon winning male!
Rubie is the first cria born on our farm on April 1, 2012. She is a joy to behold with her soft curly fawn fleece, big dark eyes, and sweet disposition.
Rubie loves to run and is very swift on her feet. Early mornings and late evenings are her favorite times to run!! She is very curious and likes to 'tease' the other females in the pasture.
Due to our herd reduction process, her price has been REDUCED from $8,000 to $4,000.
UPDATE #1: Rubie is now 3 months old and growing like a weed!! She is gorgeous with her crimpy locks of curly fawn fleece. She loves to run & play with the other two crias. The three of them can be seen pronking together in the pasture in early mornings & late evenings. She now loves eating pellets with the others as well as getting her favorite spot near a fan & some hay.
UPDATE #2: As of Sept. 1, 2012 our Precious Rubie is now 5 months old. She is growing up fast & it will soon be time for weaning. She is already in process of being halter trained along with her pasture mate, Dante. She has recently learned how to sound the alarm call when she sees some kittens playing outside the pasture. She also loves to run & play with our other two crias - Dante and Deelight.
UPDATE #3: As of Feb. 1, 2013 our Rubie is now 10 months old. She is almost weaned as she plus the other two crias have been spending days away from their moms. She has become quite good at coaxing treats from us & is sure to get her share. She has at least 4 inches of soft crimpy fiber that will be sheared in April shortly after she is a year old. She is very curious & still loves to run and play.
UPDATE #4: As of Sept. 8, 2012 our Rubie is now almost a year & a half. She has become quite the little beauty with her cute face & dense fading fawn fleece. She loves to get treats whenever possible. She will be entering a halter show in November.
Update #5: Did not place at RAC, but it was a great experience for her.
UPDATE #6: Rubie is now 3 years & bred to Bello Prophet from Southern Cross in Hayesville, NC. Their cria is due April 2016.
