Midnight in the Tropics finished his halter show career with a bang, taking a 1st place and Reserve Champion banner at the Wisconsin Alpaca and Fiber Fest, following a 1st place showing at The Futurity Show and Sale!
Once again Midnight in the Tropics placed at the top end of the class, taking 3rd at the 2016 Southern Select, right behind the eventual Color Champion and Reserve Champion. Favorable comments from the judge, in an extremely competitive class!
At the 2015 VAOBA Expo, Midnight in the Tropics placed 4th in a highly competitive class that contained 5 banner winners, including the eventual Color Champion and Reserve Champion!
CCAP Midnight in the Tropics continues to do well in Halter Shows, taking 2nd place in a large, competitive class of 9 at the 2015 OABA Alpacafest!
Check out this young male's histogram! 15.9 microns for his yearling fleece! But we're not surprised, as Midnight in the Tropics' dam is our foundation female, Tropical Delight, the same dam that produced 10x banner-winner and 2008 AOBA National Halter AND Fleece Champion, Rumm Runner as well as other multi-banner and blue ribbon winners!
At the highly-competitive Empire and NEAOBA Shows, Midnight in the Tropics did well. In the Empire Show, he took 2nd behind the eventual Color Champion, and in the NEAOBA Show, he took 4th in the class that contained both CC and RC.
Competing in his first halter show, CCAP Midnight in the Tropics took a solid 2nd place. The judge's comments included: appropriately grown for his age, exhibiting a fine fleece with good, consistent architecture and coverage.
Sired by LMFI Peruvian Black Midnight, who sold for almost $80,000 at the Magical Farms Auction in 2013, this striking TRUE BLACK MALE is the full-brother of CCAP Midnight Delight, a multiple banner-winning True Black male, who sold for $15,000 right after taking his first Championship banner!
Tropical Delight, who demonstrates time and time again why she is a true Foundation Female, delivered yet another rock star for us! Regardless of who she's bred to, she delivers nothing but top quality offspring. This latest young male has big shoes to fill, with a string of champions before him, including his maternal brother 10x Champion and 2008 AOBA National Halter AND Fleece Champion, Rumm Runner, who has been consistently producing banner-winning offspring.
