Holly Berry Sold!

Holly Berry is truly a perfect dam. She has great genetics, fine light brown fleece, and is a producer of strong, healthy, show quality crias. She is also a producer of appy colors when bred to a male with appy tendencies!

Holly carries some big name genetics in her pedigree including: Dom Lucio, Royal Fawn, PPeruvian Augusto and Remington. Holly's sire is Hollywood - a multiple ribbon and championship winner. Hollywood is the son of the industry leader in offspring credentials - Dom Lucio. Hollywood passed away in 2011 and Dom Lucio is no longer available for breedings - this makes Holly's genetics exclusive and desirable.

Holly's dam is Sweet Evita - daughter of Desperado Aloa- a multiple ribbon and championship winner.

Holly has a balanced conformation with average of 1/3 head/neck/body and legs ratio. She is a slightly above average female (a little on the tall side). She is average in weight and maintains her weight during pregnancy and nursing. She has an average bone size and balanced square stance.

Personality wise Holly is an easy to maintain dam. She is social and gets along well with the other alpacas. She establishes her eating spot, but moves to other spots for hay. She is not aggressive toward the other females in her herd - and is a good herd mate. She is also halter trained and halters and leads easily. She is not afraid of humans

Holly is one of our best dams, and produces some exceptional cria. All of Holly's crias are female and sell every time, and are sweet and social crias. She takes on the first breeding, carries her cria to 11.0 months. Holly has plenty of milk for her offspring, and is an attentive mom.

Holly has repeatedly pushed and produced fineness in her cria's fleece and she allows all other characteristics of the sire come through including color, density and coverage. For those who are looking for a dam to push Appy... Holly is your dam! Her first cria (Abbey Rose) was an appy, and Holly's 2nd daughter produced an appy!

Holly is a solid foundation female, easy to maintain, breed, and care for. She also has a strong propensity to produce show quality offspring when bred to a stud who carries density with good crimp.

Holly comes with a breeding to any color of our Color Your Herd herdsires and will make a great addition to your herd. Get her exclusive genetics! Give us a call today to learn more about Holly.
