Nayana is a very good example of an older foundation female of quality.

An average density figure belies an otherwise quality fleece exhibiting excellent measurements including a narrow (for alpaca) fiber population differential of 7 micron and very good SD for both the primary and secondary fibers. This is reflected in the Dp:Ds ration of 1.27, a very low figure.

Skin Biopsy Results at 104 months (watts):
Follicle Density: 31.17 / mm2
S:P Ratio: 9.1:1
Dp:Ds Ratio: 1.27

  Royal Fawn's Accoyo Centurion
    White, 836983, Peruvian

Royal Fawn’s Accoyo Centurion has gorgeous bundling, crimpy, lustrous fiber and is dense, dense, dense! His skin biopsy came back with a S/P Ratio of 15.7/1. The testing was done by Jim Watts in Australia. Centurion is as typey as an Accoyo can come with fiber growing over his feet. His sire, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, and dam, Accoyo Dona, on both sides of the family tree are responsible for Centurion's quality. Both his Dam and GrandDam still exhibit exceptional conformation as well as fiber that remains dense, lustrous, fine and crimpy. Centurion is the cornerstone of a quality huacaya breeding program. Centurion's sire, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, sold for $600,000 in October 2005 and his fraternal brother, Dom Lucillio, sold for $400,000 at the 2004 Spring Fling!!!

Jim Watts at SRS: "Royal Fawns Accoyo Centurion was associated with a very high level of secondary follicle development (a S/P ratio of 15.7 to 1 which ranks close to the highest level so far recorded at this laboratory)
