Snowmass Holly Bells

Light Brown, 850305, Full Peruvian

Snowmass Holly Bells is the outstanding daughter of the remarkable FEMALE, Followill Holly Go Lightly who sold for an amazing $96,000 at the '05 Snowmass auction. As an added bonus, Holly's dark fawn sire, Snowmass Matador's Magic (the "color maker" at Snowmass for many years; sire of S. Midnight Magic and S. Equinox) has impressive stats as well: 2nd year histogram: 18.5 mic, 3.5 SD, 18.9 CV, 0.8 >30 and even better yet, his 6th year histogram: 21.4 mic, 3.5 SD, 16.2 CV, 1.9 >30.

Holly has a very low scale, bright and extreme soft handling fleece with a very respectable 20.3 micron histogram. She is a very calm young lady, is easy to manage and she gets along with everybody; all traits she passes onto her impressive offspring. Holly is an excellent mother; her births have been easy and unassisted, she has strong, energetic cria and she keeps a very careful watch over them.

  Snowmass Quechua's Phoenix
    Beige, 30673311, Full Peruvian

As Matrix was awarded the Light Male Color Championship at the '08 AOBA Nationals (at an astounding 55 months of age) I overheard a Snowmass handler say that Julie thinks Matrix's sire, S. Quechua is the best light sire that they have ever produced.

The ... produced.

In 2005, an Alpaca stud named Snowmass Invincible sold at auction for a then record $580,000. I did some research into his pedigree and discovered that Invincible had an older brother, still residing at Snowmass. As a breeder, I thought that if my favorite breeding female had two boys in a row, I would probably sell one and keep the “better” one. (Time would tell that this assumption was indeed correct.) So in February of 2006, I made the largest capital expenditure in the short history of my small Alpaca operation and purchased Highland Lass at auction, bred to Snowmass Quechua.

Bella of ALPINERANCH is the product of matching two of the most "famous" lines we have here at Alpine Ranch, Bella is a daughter of our very own Snowmass Quechua's Phoenix and Snowmass Holly Bells.

Bella's paternal grandsire is none other than Snowmass Quechua, Futurity Color Champion and two time Futurity Light Herdsire of the Year. Quechua is a maternal half brother of Invincible (sold for $580,000) and sire of Matrix (sold for $675,000).

Bella's maternal granddam is Followill Holly Go Lighty (sold for $96,000)

Bella's 2011 histogram was 18.7/3.7/19.5/1.1. A proven mother, Bella's 2015 daughter is her second quality offspring.

Bella's 2015 daughter is included in this package. She is the daughter of our full Accoyo Iceman, grandson of Royal Fawn 6014.

Bella is also bred to our Millenium Falcon, son of Snowmass Millenium (one of the very best sons of Legacy 6016), to complete this exciting 3-in-1 package. All yours for a very reasonable $6,000 cash sale.
