LSH Prairie Rose

Medium Rose Grey, 31185257, 7/8 Chilean, 1/8 Peruvian

Prairie Rose is a beautiful rose grey female, and like her Sire, she has the pink tone in her fleece. Her cria fleece had a staple length of over 6”, and since her shearing she is coming in very dense with a high frequency crimp and fineness you won’t believe.

P.R. gave us a beautiful true black female in the spring, 2012, by the name of Moose Creek's Bisturi's Kokopelli. She gave us another beautiful silver grey female in the spring of 2014, Moose Creek's Rainin Thunder. We like that pairing, so we are trying for a carbon copy in the spring of 2015.

Prairie Rose has very correct conformation, a straight top line, good bone structure and density. She comes from a beautiful black Dam, KPR Chelsea, and a lovely rose grey (pink) Sire, Laurel Ridge’s Ajani.

Prairie Rose is the half-sister to our herdsire, Moose Creek's Buffalo Nickel.

  Moose Creek's Chief Grey Thunder
    Light Silver Grey, 31180825

Moose Creek’s Chief Grey Thunder, wow! At first glance he appears rose grey, but look deep in that long fleece and you will see a beautiful, crimpy, light silver grey. Chief has a perfect bite, great confirmation, long staple length and what a beautiful color. We could not have asked for much better than that!

Chief has begun his breeding career and, so far, has produced two out of two females, both beautiful! One dark brown female and one dark silver female.

Rainin is a beautiful dark silver grey female. She is out of our girl, LSH Prairie Rose, and our beautiful male, Moose Creek's Chief Grey Thunder. We like what we saw, and have repeated that breeding.

Rainin has beautifully fine fiber, a shiny silver grey, and a perfect bite. According to the judges, she as "wonderful confirmation".

Rain is an exception to the rule when it came to halter training. We put her on the halter for the first time, and she put her head up and walked perfectly beside us. She walks very proud and erect.
