Chesapeake's Bella Luna

Dark Fawn, 31307727, Full Peruvian

Luna was the first female cria born on our farm. She has FABULOUS fleece - great coverage, great crimp, great density and very fine. Luna delivered her first cria - a spunky 17+ lb white male sired by our Aga Khan son, Dry Creek Apollo - in June of 2011 and displayed the exceptional maternal characteristics inherent in her dam's lineage, including careful attentiveness and great milk production! Her second cria is a gorgeous dark rose grey by our blue ribbon herdsire, Buffalo Spring Phantom. Luna would make an awesome foundation female for a new breeder.

Price includes initial breeding and one breed-back to any service sire on site.

  Buffalo Spring Phantom
    Medium Brown, 31508803, 1/4 Chilean, 3/8 Peruvian

Phantom's father is the award-winning rose grey "Gandalf's Aragorn." His fleece has nice luster and crimp with a respectable micron count of 24.7. Phantom has already proven his ability to throw color, producing a gorgeous dark rose grey cria out of our own Chesapeake's Bella Luna. Phantom took his first blue ribbon in the medium/dark brown class AND Reserve Color Champion as a yearling at the 2010 Southern Select Alpaca Show in Shelbyville, TN!

Phantom's Bello Gustave is boarding at:
Appalachian Journey Farm in Limestone, TN

Phantom's Bello Gustave - or "PJ" as we call him - is a beautiful example of a classic dark rose gray. The first offspring of our award-winning Buffalo Spring Phantom, PJ exhibits the same compact correct conformation as his father, PLUS the grey gene from his paternal grandfather, Gandalf's Aragorn, and his great grandfather, FWD Gandalf the Grey. PJ would bring both color and conformation to your breeding program.
