KV Chula

Medium Brown, 30587458, 3/4 Chilean, 1/4 Peruvian

Kinney Valley Alpacas is proud to offer KV Chula for sale. This stylish girl was hands down our best cria of 2007 and it is hard to let her go. This richly colored girl displays a high frequency bold crimp and feels incredibly dense even though she is only 17 microns. Chula did well in the show ring as a juvenile, but she is really coming into her own as a yearling and we expect that she will continue to do well in the spring shows. Her sire is the legendary El Trauco, who won color champions at both the Futurity and AOBA and accumulated a total of seven championships in his show career. Chula’s dam, Valerie, is a great mother and producer and we believe that Chula will be the same.

Chula was biopsied by Alpaca Consulting USA and we couldn't be happier with the results.

Density: 49.1
S/P: 11.7

UPDATE: Chula delivered a beautiful female cria sired by our Vincent Sauve; definitely a show girl!

We decided to leave Chula open over the winter and bree

Keep an eye on this blue ribbon winner - he will soon be joining our top herdsire line up. He is the son of DDF Peruvian Rico Suave – who has now become infamous for his lasting fineness. Vincent is stepping right in line with a 1st yr micron of 16.8.

"Hang on to your seats - you have a real beauty here!

This is an elite alpaca! The density figure is excellent for what is basically a light fawn with uniform SD’s for each fiber population and an excellent fiber population differential of 6 microns." Ian Watt (4-10)

Vincent has moved to the top spot as our densest - AND - finest male!

He is phonotypically excellent - eye pleasing balanced conformation, "now this is FINE" - fineness, deep bold crimp to the tips - and behind it all he is packing the industry's very best genetics:

Wow! This might be the best female we have ever produced here at Kinney Valley!

Royalty is just that on this farm, Royalty. Her dam, Chula, is a multiple champion, and she is sired by our Vincent Sauvé (Top 5% epds). She is Royalty here, but she might be Royalty at your farm too! Some of the names on her certificate include Rico Sauvé, Accoyo Elite, Hemingway, Accoyo Victor, and eight time champion Patagonia’s El Trauco!

When you see the picture of her fleece you can tell she has amazing character to her fleece; she has that same crimp in her hip, mid-side, and neck. She is buttery soft and fine, and she has well above average density. Her dam was biopsied through Alpaca Consulting USA at 49/mm2 and her sire was biopsied through Alpaca Consulting USA at 68/mm2. I am going to go out on a limb here and say I wouldn’t be surprised if she had better density than either of her parents.

This girl doesn’t just have great fleece and names behind her, she is beautiful to look at too! She has perfect conformation and her amazing upright presence will demand your attention!

If you are looking to pick up a female alpaca to show, this is the girl for you. She will be very competitive in the ring and then she will be a valuable asset in your breeding program. Royalty will be a very versatile foundation female. She will do very well when bred to lighter color studs, and she will go on to produce elite dark colored offspring too!

Buy her now before I decide to keep her for our herd!
