Pocahauntus Ben

Medium Fawn, 30973923, 1/2 Peruvian

Pocahauntus is truly one of a kind! She is what all alpacas should be...fine!

A 4th year histogram still at 16.5 microns..not moving 1 micron in 4 years!

June 2012: Pocahauntus delivers a solid fawn girl! Now sheared, Pocahauntus is simply amazing. Fibre testing just back and her fleece is simply impressive...17.4 microns at 8 years of age. Up only 1 micron coming to KJ...these are true fine genetics!

Pocahauntus wins the award for heaviest animal on the farm...257.6 lbs!!! Of course there is a good sized baby in there too but I don't think she missed many meals!

JUST IN...2015 EPD RESULTS!!

POCAHAUNTUS BEN ... AFD RANK 1 of 35933!!!

Pocahauntus does is again in 2016 ranking #1 for AFD!

Pocahauntus has given us 2 white boys by Diomedes. Diaz is simply stunning and Dart is right behind.

Diaz ranks #4 for AFD and Dart ranks #7 in 2016!

  Kix Alyst
    True Black, 32747836

KIX has arrived! From day 1, we just knew he was going to be something special and he just continues to get better. One of the best black crias I have ever seen hands down. Conformation is perfect, look and type are perfect, fleece is crazy crimpy, dense and so shiny! Everything lined up on this breeding including the color : )

Savannah is a beautiful brown female out of Victoria and Cimarron Gold Legend and Kajun has both Messiah and our Accoyo Express line. Both are fleece champions and it shows in KIX!

Kix has an excellent temperment as well...very calm and friendly.

2014: Kix has now been sheared! All I can say is he is absolutely the brightest black I have ever seen. He was perfect on the shearing table too of course : )

Kix is growing up beautifully. He is going to make a wonderful herdsire.

Kix has a few offspring on the ground now and they are nice! He is passing excellent conformation, bright fleeces and great temperaments!

Kokomo Alyst

Listed by Karen & James Jarvis of Red Deer County, AB

Print Listing | Certificate | Histogram

What can I say about Kokomo? Well...she is out of the #1 ranked female for AFD and SF. She is bay black. She looks just like her sire Kix. Her crimp style is very high frequency and very consistent everywhere.

Kokomo is exactly the result we wanted when we paired Pocahauntus and Kix together. Time will tell if she has that amazing lasting fineness possessed by her dam.

Kokomo has a special place here at KJ Alpacas. She is definitely a strong girl that will hopefully replace her dam in our foundation herd.

Wow...just sheared and just wow! I think she will actually be grey as she matures but her fleece is unlike any black I have ever seen. Stunning!
