Bea is the foundation of our foundation herd. As soon as I saw her, I knew she was exactly what we were looking for. Her sire is Mr. Roosevelt, who is known for his fine fleece, something he has passed on to Bea. Her spot free fiber is simply yummy; it's super fine, bright and has beautiful crimp, all in an unusual shade of light rose grey. With the curls on her nose and expressive mascara eyes she is one enchanting alpaca. She has been a terrific, attentive mom who has easy births and lots of milk. This is one girl who read the book!
To date Bea has given us 4 crias and every one has been a color champion. Her 2009 female, Bea's Knees, was the 2010 GWAS grey COLOR CHAMPION!!!! They get better and better.
Check out the newest guy out of Aussie .38 Special....we have named him Bomber and he looks amazing! Bea is being bred back to .38 Special for another stunner in 2011.
Aussie 38 Special
Light Rose Grey, 1389081
* .38 Special just received "Judges' Choice Fleece" and his second Nationals Grey Fleece Color Championship in a row (@almost 4 years of age!) * Daughter NeverSummer's Chautauqua won Grey Female Color Champion! * Son NeverSummer's US Steel received a Blue Ribbon.
.38's offspring are "Aussome"! They are consistently exhibiting all of the fine qualities that gave .38 his many championships in both halter and fleece. Certainly the offspring are the best gauge of a herdsire's excellence. Our very first one, NeverSummer's Chautauqua, is already a three-time Color Champion including the 2010 Futurity! Her brother, NeverSummer's US Steel, was Reserve Color Champion Grey Male at the 2010 TxOLAN. We used .38's first three offspring in his first "Get of Sire" at the 2010 MOPACA where he was awarded 3rd Place!
* .38's "dance card" is full for the summer. Breedings will again be available at Aussie Acres in the Denver area this coming fall.
As of September 2017, Bomber offspring have won 37 banners! He is producing exceptional offspring, and at our farm the Orlando/Bomber/Tres mixes have been stellar.
Bomber is returning to Gray Alpaca Co. this fall.
At almost every show in 2017 in the mid west or east coast, a Bomber offspring or two, has won banners!
Bomber's Avery just won Color Champion at Futurity, 2016! Congratulations to Tres Amigos Ranch and Nancy and Brian Thompson!
First Bomber crias are capturing top honors. Gray Alpaca Co's Kenzie is 2014 AOBA Nationals Gray Champion! Update through 2015, Kenzie has now won 7 banners. Additional banner winners include, Bomber's Avery who has won Judges Choice, Championships, and Reserve Champion, Autumn Sun's Dauntless - Color Champion, Gray Alpaca Co's Gray Enough - Color Champion, TAR Hazel - Reserve Champion, and the list is growing.
Bomber was AOBA Nationals COLOR CHAMPION three times! 9 Banners
He won the Grey Color Championship at Nationals, and then topped the weekend off with winning Reserve Color Championship in fleece.
Bomber is just what we have been looking for, to combine with our Orlando and Tres bloodlines. He is the whole package with his consistency, fineness, density, and he is a beautiful lavender rose grey color.
