Birchleaf Jayda

Bay Black, 31388108, 3/8 Chilean, 5/8 Peruvian

Jayda has it all, presence, elite fibre, great personality, exact bite, beautiful head, and the right conformation. Our favorite female of the 09 season. After weaning, her fleece went from dark brown to a bay black as you can see in the fibre photo and is now changing back to dark brown. Wish she would settle on a colour. Lineage goes back to Hemingway on her Sires side and Turk/ Ivano on her Dams.

-Produced a superfine Amber Autumn Tahoma girl in 2011. Who's histogram taken Dec 9,2011 was 17.4,3.2, 18.6, 0.4> 30mic.

-Bred to Birchleaf Futarios to maximize fleece production while retaining color.

  Birchleaf Futarios
    Medium Fawn, 35207528

This young male is of very high quality, extremely fine, with a macho head and large bone. Mecharios is stamping out the quality in his offspring. We never chose to show him this spring as we only had room for the one Mecharios boy in the trailer when we went to the CNASF in April and chose Fawntastic as he is denser. We will be adding him to the fall show string, where his first show will be at the Lloydminster Showcase.
He has great bloodlines, focusing on fineness. His Sire is 7/8 Accoyo ,with
very little of his bloodlines in Canada. His dam goes back to Snowmass Braveheart, and Hemingway with an honorable mention to the most fabulous non fading black female we have ever owned, Shilo Brew.

This Macho gets better as he ages.

Futarios brakes the mold, when it comes to high frequency fleece having a short staple length. His second fleece is already 3 inches long at 6 months growth.

Bred to and settled Jayden and Jayda.

Olympus is Futarios first offspring and he has done an excellect job, he has bright, long fleece, with smooth handle and a rich color.
He has strong bone, with excellent coverage. Olympus was the plan of breeding for higher frequency fleece with a long staple, while keeping focus on neck fibre. He has the genetics to throw black/grey high quality offspring.
