Inka Peruvian Chipchiy

Beige, 804332, Full Peruvian

Elegant daughter of Royal Fawn and PPPeruvian Chiffon, Chipchiy boasts correct conformation and a dense fleece of a lustrous beige color. She has always produced award-winning crias and is an exellent mother.

  MA Durango
    Medium Fawn, 807469, Full Peruvian

Magnificent son of the renowned Kenamori Gold and PPPeruvian Miss Gigi, one of Mariah Alpacas' best production females, Durango exhibits perfect, strong conformation, an exquisite and very masculine head, extremely dense and crimpy fiber right down to his toes, and the most extraordinary presence. Successful in the show ring himself, his crias are now proving themselves as well. One of his daughters, QR Tula was chosen as Best Bred and Owned at the Eastern Alpaca Jubilee in 2003. Another daughter, QR Serafina, took second at MAPACA 2004 and 1st at the Central New York Classic 2004. We are expecting great things form his 2004 crop. Look for them in the ring in 2005. Durango can add fiber and bone to your female and he is safely bred to females carrying the BEW gene.

Quarry Ridge Aragorn Sold!

Listed by Faith & Herb Perkins of Salem, NY

Print Listing | Certificate | Histogram

It was obvious from the moment he hit the ground that this alpaca was special. In his very first hours, he held himself like a King, thus his name Aragorn. He has maintained his royal presence and added to this an exquisite head with huge dark eyes, very solid bone, flawless conformation and the densest of crimpy fibers. Born at 24 lbs, with an IgG of 2500, Aragorn began eating grain at 2 weeks. He is a proud testimony to his Peruvian ancestry. He is also a love bug who takes treats from our hands and follows us around the barn and fields. Ari won the blue ribbon in the shorn class at PAOBA Breeders' Showcase in May. Due to an overwhelmingly male birthing season this Spring, we have reduced his price. This young man would make a superior junior herdsire with the incredible bloodlines he carries: Royal Fawn and Kenamori Gold.
