Beige, 814629, Full Chilean

Cairo was one of our great foundation females with an extremely fine "baby" fleece with an AFD of just 21.9 microns. She was a great mother and excellent milker and produced four adorable crias, two girls (one dark fawn and one light fawn) and two boys, a beige and a white.
Cairo had a sweet dispositon which has been passed on to her youngsters who are all extremely friendly and easy to handle.

  SHRA Calypsa
    Light Fawn, 819705, Full Peruvian

A full Accoyo son of Felix and a grandson of Caligula on his dam's side, Calypsa possesses a regal bearing and perfect conformation. With his commanding presence, it is no surprise that Calypsa won a first place blue ribbon as a yearling at the 2001 AOBA Nationals. His lustrous, champagne-colored fleece is extremely fine and dense. His AFD at 4 years of age was a low 22.5 microns. This year he sheared an amazing 11 pounds of fleece! He continues to win blue ribbons for his fleece at the national conferences.

He has 25 outstanding crias on the ground showing a variety of colors including white, beige, fawn, light brown, true black, rose gray, and silver gray. Most recently,he has produced a handsome light brown boy named Harrison and a lovely little rose gray girl. Calypsa is one of those rare Accoyos who lets the color of the dam pass through while passing along his density and fineness to his crias.

BSF Dr. Ferguson Sold!

Print Listing | Certificate | Histogram

Dr. Ferguson (aka Fergie) is starting to manifest his strong Accoyo heritage in his proud bearing, correct conformation, and the architecture and character of his fleece. His fleece is a glow-in-the-dark white with no contamination, just pure white and, soft as silk with a micron count of just 20.4 at one year of age.
Dr. Ferguson is our miracle baby. Determined to be born despite a difficult labor, he was an orphan at four days of age. We worried that bottle feeding would make him dependent upon us and that he would have trouble relating to the herd. However, miraculously, he was adopted almost immediately by our wonderful Chilean dam, Andina who nursed him along with her own cria.

Fergie is very accustomed to people as a result of so much early handling, but he is now very independent and definitely prefers the company of his alpaca buddies. He has been a dream to halter train. His personality and charm endear him to everyone.
