Sweet Melissa

Medium Brown, 818542, Full Chilean

Sweet Melissa has been our "girl" source. She produces a cria each year, is a very heavy milker and just a really good mom. Her daughter Cleopatra Alyst is staying in our foundation herd while we are offering a few of her other female crias for sale. Melissa is a very easy keeper, quite heavy and as a result her fibre is not the finest. Her dam was true black and her sire was medium brown which is why we have only ever gotten colored cria out of Melissa. Melissa is currently bred to Messiah Alyst and has a male Messiah cria at side.

Hannah is an average sized alpaca. She has only required 1 breeding each year and always produced a live thriving cria. She has been bred to Manhatten Alyst for a May, 2006 cria. This combination has produced AAJ Missy who is a wonderful red brown female with wonderful conformation and a very soft handling fleece with incredible lustre. We have added Missy to our foundation herd and can hardly wait to see what she can produce. All of Hannah's crias have been solid colored.
