Apache carries the genetics of The Silversmith line and comes from two outstanding grandsires: Fantasy's Gremlin and 4P Capuccino. He is a true black out of Zydeco, a stunning medium silver gray male. His fleece is solid jet black with no tipping or streaking.

Apache is coming into his own as a herdsire with incredibly crimpy soft black fleece and good conformation. He has gained stature and substance over the past year. While he has never been shown in halter classes, his fleece took a 2nd place at the 2006 Nationals Spin Off in a very competitive group.
He is co-owned with Alice and Fred Brown of Forever Precious Alpacas. He is currently standing at stud at Bay Springs Farm and will return to the Brown's next spring.
