Nishio has an exquisite fleece, which is black in color, extremely dense and full of crimp. He has done consistently well in the showring. He was awarded 1st place at the 2000 All-American Futurity, 1st place & Reserve Color Champion at CABA 2000, 2nd place at the 2000 AOBA fleece show, 2nd place at the 2001 International Alpaca Odyssey, 1st place & color champion at the 2001 AOBA halter show, and 1st place AOBA 2002 & 2003 fleece shows. Nishio's first crias are here and and are extraordinary. Their achievements in the showring are impressive. Most remarkable is FULL CHILEAN Patagonia's Vinci, a white male that has been winning first place at most of the major shows of 2004 (including, IAO, NAAS, AFF, GWAS).
Bandana is the first silver grey Nishio female to be sold by Alpacas de la Patagonia.
On October 5, 2007, Bandana presented us with MOON DANCER a beautiful, true black female sired by multiple Color Champion, Patagonia's Lennox. Bandana's first birthing experience was uneventful and she slipped into motherhood beautifully, nurturing Moon Dancer as soon as she arrived. Bandana produced plenty of milk as was evident by the pleasing daily weight gains of her daughter whose IgG was a healthy 2215.
In September 2008, Bandana gave us another GIRL! This beautiful girl, MICHAELA is sired by our multiple Color Champion, third generation grey, NAVIGATOR, who is really putting out the grey and black cria! PH Navigator's Michaela is dark silver grey and we have found no spots on her blanket. She is full of energy and keeps her two contemporaries very active.
Bandana has taken several ribbons herself, including at The All American Futurity, and her beautiful silver fleece is bright, fine and very dense.
