Sapphire's Vanilla Honey

Beige, 846556, Peruvian & Chilean

Honey is a medium sized female with dense beige fiber. Yes, beige - go figure; out of bay black CPeruvian Jaxon and a rose gray dam. Honey is conformationally correct, a good mother with lots of milk and a kind spirit. She was shown once and took a 4th place at the North American in 2003.

Light Rose Grey, 829619, 3/4 Chilean, 1/4 Peruvian

Avatar is no longer available for outside breedings.
We are pleased to announce, however, that a breeding to Avatar was donated to the International Alpaca Odyssey herd sire auction, and sold for a well deserved $4800.
You can see their web site for details:

Avatar's first crias,
Delphi's Devamani (pictured here) and Avatar's Ironman (owned by Amy Crane) each received Blue ribbons and then Reserve Championships at the Alpaca Futurity in Indianapolis. Both are juvenile rose grays - one from a bay black and one from a maroon mom. Then Devamani brought home the Color Championship from the level 5 Great Western Alpaca Show and the National AOBA show in Utah. In addition, Avatar's gray son Avalance (owned by Amanda Villareal) brought home a red ribbon from Alpacapalooza, and a blue at the Monterey Pronk.
In 2006 Avatar's Fawn son Kanaka, owned by Fossil Ridge Alpacas, has been shown twice and won two color championsh

Due to the birth of seven male crias in a row last summer, we are putting Rusty on the sales list. However, we think so highly of him that we will retain breedings. On his mother's side, he hails back to CPeruvian Jaxon and 4Peruvian Matador. And his sire is the award-winning rose grey, Avatar. Rusty shows perfect conformation, a lovely head and strong topknot and eye catching maroon fiber that is extremely fine and uniform. He has excellent coverage and a gentle personality. Herdsire potential.
