| | Fern defines the phrase "foundation female". She is a strongly built production girl who has effortlessly given us 2 beautifully robust and conformationally sound cria. She was selected for import and passed all of the stringent tests that were required. Her crias have high IGG ranging from 2500-3500, gain weight quickly, and are wonderfully healthy and alert. Her milk is plentiful.
We will be keeping Fern as a part of our foundation group and have reluctantly sold her 2003 daughter Talulah. Both possess strong genetic vigor and we want to be sure to continue the line in our herd. Her true black male from 2004 was a star of our show string and has been purchased by a West Coast farm as a junior herdsire. His fiber character is incredibly crimpy, fine, and lustrous - and oh what a head and presence. From the moment he could stand, his perfect conformation was evident. Her 2005 cria, Lucky Chance, is a full brother and looks like he will be an equally outstanding dark

| | Simply put, Evander is amazing! His possibilities are unfathomable based on the few progeny he has produced to date. Amazing in every regard and in every color! We have been taken back by this herdsire's ability to improve the female instantly producing multiple blue ribbon and Championship winners with his first four offspring representing him in 2003. Not only did they win ribbons themselves, the first three offspring helped put Evander on the breeding map. With ALL JUVENILES representing him, Evander placed in every "Get-of-Sire" class he entered in 2003 against males who have been breeding and producing offspring for years! He's done it again in 2005 at the North American Alpaca Show, once again with ALL JUVENILES representing him (including our ScF Sonny Liston) taking third place in the "Get-of-Sire" above some of the top herdsires in the country who have many, many more offspring on the ground.
Evander is a proud, full-Peruvian son of Inca's Ransom. He is a solid male

Phenotypic perfection. This Inca's Ransom grandson and Evander son is not only perfect from a technical standpoint but is soooo cute you can't resist him. His grandsire has contributed his compact body style, immense bone, gorgeous head, and super dense fine fleece. His sire is the well-respected Evander co-owned by Chase Tavern Farm and Silver Cloud Farm who has produced one showring super star after another.
His fiber is very pleasingly fine, density is very good, and he has a consistent high frequency crimp.
And did we mention how he stops everyone in their tracks to ask....who is that???
