Peruvian Crystal

Bay Black, 837792, Full Peruvian

Ever wanted to own a full Peruvian, black producing, blue ribbon winning female out of a 5-time champion and bred to a FULL ACCOYO FAWN Legacy son??????

This is your chance, and you probably can't find another one like it on alpacanation.

Crystal has produced 3 outstanding true black offspring for us including this year's Surefire Betsy who is out of our fawn 3/4 Accoyo Joseppi Surefire. All 3 have been conformationally correct and had beautiful dense fiber. All 3 are out of different sires. Her dam is a maroon Peruvian Import and her sire is LB Remington.

The breeding this year to Accoyo Stratosphere is an outstanding one for her. We expect a cria of rich color, who will be 1/2 Accoyo, and out of one of the most well-respected lines in the US today.

  Joseppi Peruvian Surefire
    Dark Fawn, 844285, Full Peruvian

One look at Joey and everyone who visits the farm is in love at first sight. He is a 3/4 Accoyo out of Accoyo PPeruvian Leon on his dam's side and Accoyo PPeruvian Camilio on his sire's. His rich dark fawn fleece has a consistent high frequency crimp with excellent density and character that extends all the way into his top knot. His thick helmet type head coverage is still evident even into maturity. His hard-to-find eyes are deep brown and expressive and he is topped off with wonderful fuzzy ears. He is well-balanced and carries himself in a proud manner.

Co-owned with Irish Mist Alpacas, Canterbury Farms, and Serendipity Alpaca Depot.

Joey's first offspring have begun to arrive and are showing great density and crimp even at birth. We have had only one complaint - it is hard to get them dried off because they are so dense, you just keep finding more layers of fiber! Colors have included true black, rose gray, browns, fawns, and whites. Tap into this fiber

If you are partial to fuzzy ears, this girl will not disappoint you. She is a well-proportioned daughter of our dark fawn, 3/4 Accoyo, Joseppi Surefire (Accoyo Camillio and Leon lines). 2006 was Joe's first crop of cria and we are very pleased with the results. We gave him some interesting challenges and in every case he rose to the occasion. We bred him to 2 of our dark females and he produced black females for us both times.

Betsy's dam is our MAPACA blue ribbon winning Crystal, who is the daughter of 5 time color champion Peruvian Remington.

Betsy is well covered, well grown, and has a pleasing soft handling fleece with a bold crimp style. She is a great first step to working on the elusive black Accoyo.

Her first breeding is included in her price and generous financing is available.

Meet me in St. Louis March 24.
