Night is an interesting find for us. He has an all silver gray, full Peruvian lineage with Peruvian Dom Timbo as his grandsire and Peruvian Silvio as his sire. His dam is a color champion and blue ribbon winner at Nationals. Attractive wedge-shaped head, very square conformation, and good bone are the first impression you get from him. His fiber coverage is excellent, bite perfect, and legs well-set and straight. His fiber has good density, a medium very consistent crimp and nice fineness.

Then go back and think about that genetic again. The gray spots in his tail are a hint at what this male offers and the gray has now begun to spread to the rest of his body. This is a powerhouse of gray genetics just waiting to be released. We think he makes the perfect choice for gray, black, and maroon females if you are trying to create gray or rose gray cria.

He has settled several females now and has taken enthusiastically to his new job . Give us a call and take a look at him for yourself. First cria arrived in Oct of 2006, a black female out of a maroon dam. More arrivals expected in 2007.

We have a group of junior herdsires moving up to the ranks of breeder and need to move some of our experienced boys whose genetics have been infused into our herd. Night would make a perfect male for a farm with limited breeding experience as he has become very reliable. We would consider a trade for a young female.

Night is available for lease, call for details.
