Tin Roof's Peruvian Almond Joy

Dark Rose Grey, 837846, Full Peruvian

Peruvian Almond Joy has it all. Her fleece has quite the staple length, rich warm color, and wonderful handle. She has solid conformation , a sweet dispostition, and unique markings. Along with the white ring around her neck, she has a medium silver grey ring that runs around the back of her head. Her blanket has a great deal of dark rose grey running through it,which is no surprise, coming from a true maroon Sire.

Her cria, Georgie girl, was born on 3/11/05. 21# and very spunky..Georgie Girl is so impressive that we decided why change a good thing? Almond Joy has been bred again to Accoyo The Babe. We would love to see another full Peruvian 1/2 Accoyo pattern!
NEWS FLASH! Almond Joy has delivered a beautiful cria. 23# totally unassisted. He is what we wanted. A Full Peruvian, 1/2 Accoyo and patterned. He has more gray in him than Georgie, and I expect that it will show up as he matures. His fleece is very impressive at one day old it is crimpy , bundled,

  Camilio's Accoyo The Babe
    Medium Fawn, 829412, Full Peruvian

The Babe is in a league of his own! One of the few Full Accoyo Dark Med Fawns in the Country. When people get their hands on him, they comment about how is fleece is like getting lost in a bowl of butter. It is thick, rich and smooth.

We have the results of The Babe's first pairing. We bred him to a beautiful girl who has solid conformation and good staple, yet she needed crimp, density, coverage and top knot. That is a big order, but we were confident that The Babe could pull it off.

She was born fall of 2004 and what a beauty! Her name is Camille and at just 6 months old competed at the MOPACA show. Not only did she stand proudly at the top of her class, she went on to take the Color Champion for the light class. That was a win out of 35 animals!

The Babe also has an amazing Silver Gray boy on the ground named Tamerlane (see link below). This young male just took the Blue Ribbon at the Maryland Show - Spring 2006.

These ones are a little young

AKAPAKA The Babe's Perucoyo Joseph Sold!

Print Listing | Certificate | Histogram

Joseph's birth was quite unassisted. He made his appearance by peeking around the corner of the barn at feeding time! He has grown rapidly, and is becoming very protective of his herd. Georgie's full brother, he has that same incredible staple length, and is exhibiting some nice crimp. Of course, he has that beautiful Peruvian head, and the nice square muzzle, and note the nice splash of rose grey on his face. This little boy may have some grey in his future. We will withhold judgement until he gets a bit older.
Just did heard health day, and measured Joe's fleece just for fun. 4 and a half inches, and growing. Georgie girl is Joe's full sister, and she presents us with the same incredible staple length.
