Midnight Express was just that! He first appeared (at least part of him) a few minutes after midnight and was then formally introduced to the world just ten minutes later at 12:15. From the moment we saw him in all his glory, we were delighted and he certainly made an impression on us. Express carries wonderful rich color, has nice straight legs and proportions and that perfect head we all keep hearing about in the show rings. And then there's his fiber! Very soft & dense with lots of crimp & brightness and incredible staple length. But then, what would we expect given his background. His dam sheared over seven pounds of prime fleece, with lots of crimp and extremely long staple. His sire, Snowmass Nova, is a two-time AOBA National and All American Alpaca Futurity Champion and the 2005 All American Alpaca Futurity Dark Herdsire of the Year. In addition, his genetics include Jericho 69, the famous jet-black Canadian herdsire, the incomparable P Bueno and three All American Alpaca Futurity Herdsires of the Year: Snowmass Nova, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova and 4Peruvian Legacy.
