Tin Roof's Peruvian Almond Joy

Dark Rose Grey, 837846, Full Peruvian

Almond Joy has given us very vigorous, sturdy cria, and we think that Georgie, her daughter will follow suit. 2007 will bring us new bloodlines out of Augusto, so we are anxious to see what this cria year brings.
Her conformation is very good, great bite, strong babies, and she is a very attentive and protective mother. Both her cria were born unassisted and vigorous. Almond Joy also has that special attitude . She stands proud, watches over her babies, and is as sweet as can be to her humans. Almond joy is a "Joy" to have in our herd. Her interesting pattern and soft fleece make her a favorite with all our visitors.
Achiever has an incredible bright, dense, crimpy fleece. we think that he will give us an outstanding cria for 2007.

NEWS FLASH!
Almond Joy has another success. Cria born this morning, 20.8# Very dense, bundled, and bright. Almond Joy gives us strong babies. She was up and running before Jim got out to feed.

  My Peruvian Achiever
    Light Brown, 835617, Full Peruvian

My Peruvian Achiever already has quite a show winning record. He is a beautiful alpaca with excellent light brown fleece. Achiever now has 5 crias on the ground (2 males & 3 females). All of his crias have been brown or black. One cria sold at auction for $25,000 and another took first place at the Michigan Breeder's show in a tough class of 6. We are excited to see how his 3 spring crias do! We are accepting limited outside breedings.

Little Corinna is a wonder. Born totally unassisted, up and nursing in 15 minutes. IGg 2134. Strong and very straight, very crimpy and full of rose grey. Her blanket seems a consistent fawn, but head and legs are quite a pretty rose grey. Corinna's Sire, Achiever is building quite a show record, and his Son won grand Champ at the Spring Michigan show. We think this little girl has great possibilities. For Vigor, I give her an A+ . Let's follow her progress. If you are looking for a nice female, with good bloodlines that can pass on color, crimp and hybrid vigor, maybe give this girl a hard look. Corinna has matured rapidly, weighs 130#, and is flirting shamelessly with the boys. She is showing that vigor that is true of all Almond Joy's cria, and will impart that same vigor to her own cria. Her fleece from shearing is beautiful, consistent, soft and crimpy.

Corinna sells with a free breeding to any Herdsire from Benchmark Alpacas or Autumn Alpacas. This is a special offer we have arranged, and gives the buyer a wide assortment of valuable choices. Corinna was bred and is confirmed pregnant for a July 2011 cria. Her herdsire is none other than El Nino's Accoyo Victory. The late El Nino has passed on his genetics, and this should be a great match.

CRIA NEWS FLASH:
CORINNA HAS DELIVERED HER FIRST CRIA, and he is a fawn knockout! She has proven herself as an excellent Mother right from the start, excellent milk supply, and a cria who is flourishing. He is the densent cria we have had, and exhibits beautiful crimp and luster. We will definitely see him in the spring shows. We may be seeing a future herdsire in this little guy. His name is Louis.

Corinna delivered a beautiful rose grey male in October. The sire was Triple Diamond's Finalmente, and he is knockdown gorgeous! Thanks to Triple Diamonds Ranch for this great breeding.

  Awards Received
Blue Ribbon MIAF 2008 Bred and Owned.
The judge commented that usually a darker fleece shows less character, fineness and crimp than a lighter or white fleece, "But this is not the case today" Corinna took a blue ribbon over a white animal who took second!
