Rascal was purchased when we first moved to our own place as a companion for our only male. He and our male became friends at Rascal's original home. And did we get lucky in getting him. He serves his purpose as a companion with a zest. When we had to move an 8 month male out of the female area, Rascal came to the rescue. The poor weanling was picked on by the other 2 males. Rascal accepts him as an equal even though he is much older. A true alpaca friend. Rascal's fleece is very nice and crimpy for a black. However his conformation has dictated that he be gelded. A great companion animal with jet black fleece for his blanket that has turned to dark silver grey as he has aged.
